Manchester United vs Everton: Premier League Live Stream

As we move towards the business end of the 2022/23 season, Gameweek 30 of the Premier League kicks off with the lunchtime fixture between Manchester United and Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Manchester United had a forgettable March following their Carabao Cup triumph in February. The Red Devils failed to secure a win in the Premier League and went on a three-game goalless streak. Though they began April with a defeat to Newcastle United, they bounced back with a 1-0 win over Brentford on Wednesday.

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s manager, has a new injury concern ahead of their next match. Five first-team players will be absent against Everton on Saturday. Luke Shaw is the latest addition to the injury list after suffering a hamstring injury during the Brentford match. Christian Eriksen might return to the matchday squad, but Casemiro is still serving his two-match suspension. Tom Heaton, Donny van de Beek, and Alejandro Garnacho are also unavailable.

David de Gea will be in goal as Manchester United sets up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has recovered from an illness and should replace Diogo Dalot, who has been sub-par in the last few games. Wan-Bissaka will join Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, and Tyrell Malacia in the defensive unit.

Marcel Sabitzer, who was solid in the previous match, should pair up with Fred in the double pivot. Bruno Fernandes will be in an advanced position, with Sabitzer as a box-to-box midfielder. The offensive unit will see Anthony Martial leading the Manchester United attack against Everton, with Marcus Rashford moving to the left flank and Antony on the right wing. Jadon Sancho might drop to the bench.

On the other hand, Everton’s manager Sean Dyche has his own roster issues to deal with ahead of the match at Old Trafford. He will be without four first-team players due to injuries and suspension. Abdoulaye Doucoure, who saw red against Tottenham Hotspur, joins Ruben Vinagre (Achilles), Andros Townsend (knee), and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (thigh) on the sidelines.

Jordan Pickford is an automatic pick between the sticks, with Everton lining up in a 3-4-3 formation in front of him. Dyche should prefer the new system after initially favouring the 4-5-1 in his early days as the Toffees’ boss.
